Glen Clemons is Larkspur Fire Protection District’s Community Outreach Coordinator.  Glen has been an integral part of Larkspur Fire since 2014 when he became a volunteer firefighter.  He has come to know Larkspur and its citizens and is committed to always providing a positive interaction between the fire service and the community it serves.

 

Community Outreach can mean many different things to communities and here are a few ways that Larkspur Fire wants to be there for YOU!

• Larkspur Fire wants to establish liaison with local special districts, HOAs and other community groups.  Glen frequently attends local meetings and is always seeking open communication with local groups and stakeholders.

• Glen identifies, supports and/or creates independent programs, classes, training sessions and community events.

• Glen works with the district’s elected officials and other political bodies, as directed, to further the welfare and safety of the district’s residents.

• Glen assists external organizations, individuals and entities regarding matters of mutual interest, expanding our knowledge and appreciation of their individual needs and risks, seeking to mutually benefit from cooperative opportunities.

• Glen continually communicates and engages residents and stakeholders regarding their perceptions of risk in order to assess the community’s needs and how we may better meet those needs.

• Glen actively coordinates with the District Fire Marshal to develop programs and outreach efforts that will help reduce the risk of harm to our community residents who depend upon us in emergency situations.
